From Mill St’s Seasonal 6 pack sampler comes Mill Street Brewery’s Tankhouse Ale (5.2% alc, poured at home from a bottle). I love the idea of a 6 pack sampler, well done Mill Street.
Aroma and Appearance: Floral, citrus and a bit of pine aroma. Pours a golden copper with a 1 inch head of foam with small rising bubbles from the bottom.
Flavour: somewhat malt forward ale with some fruitiness, lingering bitter finish and a touch of pine.
Overall Impression: alright, not too much to say about this one. It tastes good, but not amazing either, something you order if they only have Bud or Canadian on tap.
Rating: I would rate about 6/10 for a craft beer as in a bit above average, something you order when they only have Bud or Canadian on tap.
Food Pairing: This would pair well with cheddar, burgers or any standard pub food.
