Beer Cocktail Review – Beermosa: Made with 50/50 split of Trader Joe’s (via Unibroue) Golden Belgian Ale and OJ, this beer version of a Mimosa was enjoyed at home – I reviewed the actual beer in this cocktail here.
Aroma and Appearance: It looks like slightly diluted, yellow OJ and has an aroma of oranges and coriander.
Flavour: Spicy and sweet orange juice with a hint of peppery malt and a carbonated mouth feel.
Overall Impression: This is great for a beer cocktail and is the best type of beer to make them with. The spicy beer combines with the OJ perfectly and creates a perfect pair.
Rating: I give it an excellent rating of 8/10 for a beer cocktail, great way to make some beer last through a hot day.
Food Pairing: Bacon and eggs or basically any brunch food.
